I have a SE tuner with the SE aircleaner, using the stock cover (stage 1?) I'm not a real performance junkie (yet) and this is what the dealer recommended when i ordered the pipes/ mufflers at the same time i bought the bike. I got 20% off all the accessories and a nice discount on having them do the install / set up. so it was not only an easy way to go it was also relativley expensive.

p.s. what kind of seat do you ahve on your bike????

baffle is straight through and louvered no plate 2-1/4 diameter, they also make a competition baffle (2-1/2 dia. i believe) and a 1-3/4 " quiet baffle for about $25 per baffle

Are you asking about the Basic Slip Ons with the slash end; part # 16751 or are you asking about the Tapered Slash-Cut Slip ons; part # 16741?

I have the tapered # 16741 on my '09 Ultra, the bike had these when I purchased it.. They are loud but not to an annoying level; sound pretty good actually.

I left the stock 2-1 head pipe and picked up a V&H twin slash cut. The sound is really nice. It is a little on the "raspy" side rather then the deep throaty sound. But still sounds good.

I also have the SE A/C and the PCV from Fuel Moto.

I bought a set of VH slash about a year and a half ago... used them a few hundred miles and they were too loud for my wife. Now have them in a box and will sell them someday. They were a bit loud for me as well :-)
