Don't get the Arlen Ness Big Sucker. Mine leaked oil from behind the intake bracket no matter what the shop did to try and fix it. Put on the SE backplate problem solved.

Is that a K&N?
I just bought the Fuel Moto AC today.

What they told me over the phone, is their's has a K&N Filter. Maybe he meant equiv.. but word i have heard, is that their rig is better and longer lasting then the SE. We will.. should have it tomorrow.

I have a custom cover for it with the Marine Eagle Globe and Anchor on it.. etched into a black metal disk. I am leaving my filter open to the elements. Means I have to clean it more often.

Original cover does work to answer your question.
Will look the same if you use it, minus the black back. It will be open to the engine side if you go to a stage one.

I've had 3 on 3 differen't bikes. They've all worked fine. You have to torque the 3 standoff bolts first before you torque the breather bolts. If you don't you can have a poor fit or worse crack your back plate.

Go for the Fuel Moto stage 1, free shipping and they include filter cleaner solution and re-oil bottle. You can request a new map at the same time!

If you really want to maximize airflow go with the S&S Single Bore Tuned Induction System.
