Default Question about the Full Premium Head Set on 2010 Ultra's

Have a question...what is the H-D part number on the headset that came as standard equipment with your 2010 Ultra Classic or Limited?

thanks,
Randy

Thanks dakajun. I got the same set as you. Could you tell a difference between the two headsets besides the part numbers? Most item descriptions I've read regarding the two headsets stated the 77117-10 came as standard equipment with the 2010's...so I wasn't sure it there was a switch-up at the manufacture or the dealer. Also it's my understsanding is the 77147-98A was manufactured by Koss...not sure who the motor company's supplier is for the 77117-10 for H-D. Anyway thanks again, you answered my question and concerns.

Not sure what the deal is with two different part numbers, but the headsets sure do look identical.

Tried both of them on Shoei helmets last Sunday. Absolutely no difference as far as I can tell.

The mic is FAR superior and the speakers are WAAAAY better. P&A says comes stock with 2010 Ultra's, my 2010 CVO Ultra came with the old # as did every 2010 touring on the showroom floor, I got service guy to switch em out for the $10 difference, glad I did.

I have one of each 77147-98A and 77117-10 both look identical and sound the same to me. My question is I seem to have to firmly push in the connector on each headset for the mic to work. I am speaking of the connector at the helmet location. Is anyone else have this issue? Thanks...

The 77117-10 headset came with the bike and I had a problem with the small connector at the helmet. I often had to wiggle and push it in to get the mike to work. My dealer exchanged it under warranty--no problems with the new one so far.
