Ultra Rick: What's involved in painting those plastic housings/buttons? Primer then finish coat? I can't beileve that's a spray can application.
The housings are easy to paint. The housings are metal, I painted them the same time as the inner fairing with a spray gun. To paint them, remove the switches, scuff the paint with a gray scratch pad, spray on some adhesion promoter then paint.

Here are a couple more pictures of the process. I have not tried painting the plastic buttons, I just installed the chrome switch caps.

Gave this a lot of thought and read through all these posts. Finally went with the chrome buttons and left the housings black. Seemed to work the best with the ISO grips and the Spun AL gauges.
