........ tell your dealer before he gets too far on changing the FLHT that you've realized you need an FLTR, w/a tallboy seat
...... big guys ride more comfortably on the DarkSide.

First of all, slow down, take a xanax and use spell check. Then if you are uncomfortable with the bike and the size of the bike as opposed to you (a new one to me) your dealer should be able to suggest options. BTW, don't EVER pick on smaller guys as you never know, they may be packing heat....

I don't know why the insults, some people feel big behind the keyboard? LOL
I also can't answer the question about what do "BIG GUYS" do for forward controls, as I am only 5'9"

But the main reason I replied is to let you know, FLTR is not the Road King, it's the Road Glide, otherwise known as the "Shark Nose" and it may be a good fit for someone of your size!
Probably the main reason I DIDN't look at them, is that I had set on one or two and felt way to far from the front of the bike,,,, gages, windscreen ect...

Good luck, and I hope you get into/onto a Harley that fits you!

Maybe try Mean City Seats to see what they can do fo ya. Good people to deal with. They take your seat and customize it. Move back, forward, up. Not sure how far back they could move you without cramping the misses but would be the cheapest route if it will work. By the way my wife says I'm too big too. (then I woke up)

I have a 36 1/2 inseam & I put forward controls on my RKC.
The footboards jacked my knees way up above the tank.

I think you took too many xanax yourself. The guy was asking a legit question. I don't see were he suggested picking on smaller guys. I have a buddy that is 6'7" and he can not fit on an Electraglide to save his soul and he would like too but just too tall.
