I think it looks 10X better with a solo seat IMHO. My wife doesn't ride so there is no need for 2up.

I'm sensing a theme here.....

1. Wife won't ride
2. Prefer the look of a solo seat
3. Solo setup w/ tour pak

Riding solo 95% of the time, why cover up a beautiful fender with a useless pillion?

I have both...good timing on your post.

My g/f JUST said to me that it made her feel kinda unsettled when I talk about putting on my "Solo" seat....I just grinned and said "You mean my 'individual' seat?" She laughed and said..."much better". Women.

I like the Looks of a Solo Seat, and I ride now 95% of The Time Solo.
Many Many Times (Not Bragging...Just a Fact) I've Picked up a Hottie, or Club House Bar Fly... Or at least when I was Drinking they were Hot... I had a Solo Seat. You Know, If they were as Hot to Trot and All Crinkly as they were in the Bar, They Sat on the Fender and never seemed to Mind... One Old rigid Chop I Rode Didnt even have Pegs, and she just wrapped those arms & Legs around me for the ride Home....
Solo Seat Now on my Electra Glide, (But I have Pegs). The last Time I had a Toy on the Back she sat Right down on the Fender Cover... She Did complain a little and since I have bought a Suction (no Pun) Pinion pad....

Oh Not so Distant Memories of Youth... God Bless the Open Road.

You're asking from a single persons point of view. If I were single and out looking for a passenger maybe I would not run a solo or I would carry a p-pad to stick on for that. But I'm married, happy and not looking for a passenger. Wife doesn't ride so I'm running a solo C&C seat. I like the looks. No need for a back seat. Different strokes and all. Plus I don't want my RG looking like all the others.

Don't like riding two-up, never have (in 35 plus years), never will. If interested enough, the chicks will follow you home!!
