Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. I'm not interested in needlepoint and wouldn't think of posting in a related forum with a message stating how I'm not interested in the subject.

You open the thread and find it's going pretty well with useful information and occasionally it turns in the wrong direction and gets cluttered with junk. My impression is that's what jag's point was: cam threads can go bad; though they don't always. And even with the junk, decent information can be found.
