To get the baffle out, undo the screw and slam the outlet of the muffler against a 2x6 while holding it vertically. Use liberal amounts of WD-40. If that fails, do what I did and build a wedge to drive it out. I have a recently re-coated and re-wrapped Fatcat for sale
here if anyone's interested.
