Default Guys with blacked out front ends

I am trying to decide between a black or chrome front end. Do the black forks chip and scuff easily? It seems like the black would show every little mark and scratch. Thanks for any info.

The powdercoat is tougher then paint. But it doesn't compare to Chrome. I have about 10K miles on my black front end. I have one little rock chip on my cow bell. I know its there but you would have to look really hard to find it since its not your bike.

Just got mine back from being powder coated. I had them clear the legs and cans as well just for an extra layer of protection.

nice thing about doing it yourself is that you can shave the mounts off on one side and go with single rotor to show off your wheels.

To give a straight answer: I was one of the first to get the MoCo ones when they first came out in '06. 4 yrs and 33k miles later they have held up quite well. Would not hesitate to get them again.
