I believe the moco stuff is painted not powder coated.

 

I'm trying to decide what to do on my SG. Thinking about going chrome lowers with black cowbells/fairing skirt and headlamp trim ring kinda like a CVO SG in black.

 

I had black for years and changed bikes and now have a chrome front end. I liked the black better. Powder coat holds up real well. And it looks great.

 

Got my black PC'd front end on ebay as well, 2 years and over 30k miles and still look new.

 

I had an extra set and powder coated them. Much better than paint. Got two more sets in the shop if you need a set, you can get them powder coated and save the down time.....

Get chrome uppers and black lowers or vice versa, it looks good too.
