Picking up my 2010 FLHTCU on Monday. Can't stomach the stock mufflers. What's a good choice for a muffler change so that it sounds like a Harley should for a reasonable cost?

Where are you from? If it's cold until April or May, Don't Buy ANYTHING yet. Go to a dealer on a Saturday morning this spring, and walk around, talk to people, ask them to "fire it up" (everybody'll do it) and when you hear something you like, you'll say "that's what I'm lookin' for, right there." Somebody here said they liked V & H Ovals. I heard them & didn't like them at all. I ended up with Rush slip-ons & a 2.5 baffle. I really like 'em for my EG Classic, but I've read here about guys that don't like Rush. (Rush was, I think, less than $400?) It's all personal preference. Save your money until you hear something you like. Like I said, go to a dealer on a Saturday morning sometime. It won't take you long to find the one you like.
I've got the Screamin' Eagle slip-ons and love them. Not obnoxiously loud but plenty of bark when you roll on it. Can easily hear my tunes still without having to blow the speakers.
Fuelmoto, they even have dyno #'s posted. One thing I've found about the forum sponsers. They are top notch, good products, and bend over backwards customer service.
Another Vote for Fuelmoto and the Jackpots...The sound is perfect, sounds they way it should, noise level is right on the money and the performance gain can't be beat.
Hey 1fathog ---- See what I mean? 6 or 7 replies, and 6 or 7 different pipes! Wait for that Saturday morning when you can go to a delaer that has a parking lot full of bikes! Like I said, all personal preference.
