Bandlander Seat
I have removed the tour pack and lower bag gaurds which is giving it the look of a street glide, which looks great..the seat that on there is too wide in the back 16" ....I was looking at the Badlander seat which is 6" wide which would look great..any thoughts on that seat..i know it wont be as comfortable as my stock seat but looking for one that i can put 50 to 100 miles without being in pain...i want to keep the price down..with this seat it would be mainly me riding....i can switch seat for the wife..

Badlander is a cool looking seat and is ok for what you want. I wanted the same thing you did, a seat that looked cool but, inexpensive to use when i rode by myself. I have a Badlander and cant go more than 2 or 3 hours on it without my azz hurting. I'm having mine restuffed right now by a local guy for $100.00.

I have the Badlander seat and really like it. It looks very good and is very comfortable to me. I have ridden it 600 miles in one day without my *** hurting. I couldn't ride the stock seat for more than 50 miles before my entire rear went to sleep. The seat is also a very good deal. I paid $160 for mine (on sale). When my wife rides on it, she hates it, but I didn't buy it for her. She has her own bike. I guess it helps keep her off mine :-)
It is a hard seat, but that is what I prefer, even in a chair at home. I do not like thick padded seats, which is what most "tourers" seem to want.
