Can someone confirm that the TW6-6 cams would not reduce reliability. These numbers are very impressive for a cam change. I would not mind getting a little more kick for riding 2-up. I just cannot afford to give up anything in the reliability department, I ride the bike nearly everyday and sometimes a good distance.

Local dealer is running a special for SEST and full Dyno-tune for $700 plus tax.

UltraKla$$ic, where are you. Here is a cam only change 96 and he got 25 more hp. Now do you believe that you can get 30hp out of a limited with only a cam change. The limited comes with the stock 255 like your running in yours. Not bashing the 255, just saying it is a stock cam for the 103 SE.

You really need stay on your meds. R u really that removed from reality that you don't think I know the 255 camsDO NOT come in the Limited bike much less take an interest in some internet Dyno racing bullcrap. You're truly delusional too if you think that stock heads can generate damn near 100hp just because somebody selling a product posts the numbers from a dyno. You need to get out more and quit relying on this forum for sole information.

May I suggest you do a little more homework before you call me out again, and PLEASE step away from the keyboard. Lol

Love to assure you that i will have reliability with this cam upgrade and have proof to back it up. Unfortunately i can only tell you what my builder told me. Those cams are very good for long term reliability, he also told me that i would get very good numbers. So far 1 outta 2 ain't too damn bad!!!! I'll get back to you on the reliability issue.

Provoking me doesn't make you any smarter. Quite the opposite. Your not worthy of my time anymore. Nothing like arguing with an Internet retard. The only thing I need to prove to you is you don't have a freakin clue and that didn't take much effort.

The limited does NOT come with 255's...Nor does the screamin' eagle stage 1 103 kit.

With respects, no one here can confirm that for you. From what I've read so far, I don't see that the TW6-6 cams will hurt the engine in any significant way from a reliability point of view but I could certainly be wrong about that.

Anything we do to the engine that increases power output above factory stock levels has the potential of decreasing reliability but that factor is also heavily dependent on how you ride the bike and how well you maintain it. If you do those two things moderately and well, respectively, I seriously doubt you'll have any significant problems beyond what you might have seen anyway.

JMO and good luck with whatever you decide!
Ride Safe,
Steve R.
