Default THC Fender Slam Kit....

Anyone use this or try this? I am stewing on the idea of getting one with my stock wheels and tires. Just curious how it looks and if it really made a difference. Are there any other alternative brands or types? I know there is the fotboy kit, but dont want to get another fender. Thanks.

Also, anyone know if there is any drilling, welding, repainting with this kit? It says in JPcycles that there is no welding or repainting, but we all know how that goes.

If you are real careful with a grinder you will not need to repaint. This is the one I am using. http://www.541baggers.com/drop_fender.html

I used native bagger kit. It is a weld on kit but worth it. No bolts or rivots. I also took the flare out in the back on the bottom. Hope this helps.

I was hopefully looking for something that is not a weld-on application or to paint anything. I didnt even think I would have to drill with the THC kit.

Default Ultra Classic Fender Slam

I used the TWR slam kit. (Same company that makes the TWR missing link stabilizer) The kit drops the fender and levels it so its not pointing up at the front. Looks great. Comes with EVERYTHING, including a punch and even the drill bits. (you may own better ones)
Mask off EVERYTHING near the stock fasteners before doing anything. Then Dremel the heads flat ( carefull here) before you attempt to drill them out . The whole job takes about an hour including wheel R & R.
