I concur. What is so top secret about meeting someone "famous". (Never heard of the band you mentioned)
I used to work security at the Mall of America. Back in the day when Planet Hollywood opened. Met A LOT of stars. I could list them off, stories about them, blah blah blah, in the end, I treated them like any other Joe Schmoe. Its amazing how decent they are if you don't gawk and paw on 'em. IMHO, they are no more special than the next guy.
Heros like our troops are the ones I WANT to meet. Their stories are the ones I want to hear.

There's some real dweebs on this forum. If you don't care you don't care. So what? Some here remind me of vultures hoping around pecking at a dead carcass or waiting for one to show up. So I didn't start another thread about cams for hmm let's see - the 500th time - or painted inner fairings, or whether the 2009 frame handles better than the 2008 or synthetic oil or any number of topics that come up over and over and over again. So what? Some have had fun with the thread and that I can respect and laugh at. For the rest of you all - get a life. Geesh.
Frankly I just thought it was kinda fun. Perfectly normal every day kinda guy came to my house to buy some leathers I was selling. It was interesting to me that his life and career is a little different from the rest of us who, let's face it, are a bunch of mostly white collar desk jockies.

That may be you pal, but I think you are way off the mark. Sorry your life is so bland you think giving your pants to another guy is "surreal".
