Question Don't like the rear signal lights on a 2010 RK

I have a 2010 RK and I like everything about it except for big funky rear signal lights and the big wide bar. I realize that the license plate bracket is made with it and was wondering if anyone has used a 2010 Street Glide signal lights and license plate bracket in its place. Does anyone know if these will exchange from one bike to the other?

I would imagine they would xchange but cannot provide a proof positive answer. You really need the CycleVisions Eliminator plate. See this thread. https://www.hdforums.com/forum/touri...r-signals.html That is a 2009 SG.

I felt the same way. I put the street glide turn signal bar on the back of my 10 RKC. I also needed a way to put the license plate below, so I bought the kuryakyn one. The turn signal bar works as long as you get one for a 09 or 10. The street glide light bar has a built in plate light. You will want to get rid of the stock tail light because the light faces up.

Also, the kuyakyn plate bracket does not fit, it had to be modified to work.

This is my current set up. All I want to exchange is the signal bar/license plate bracket which is one piece. The 2010 Street Glide signal bar/license plate bracket is one piece also. I was wondering if anyone knew if they would exchange without drilling extra holes or altering the fender.

,certain years had the plate light on the ts bar and others had the window in the tail light lense not on the bar. the mounting holes are all the from 97-09 6 inches apart.

Halffast-If you are looking to get rid of the bar/plate frame assembly, I may be interested in buying it. Send me a pm if interested. Thanks!

EBAY has a couple listings right now for the turn/run lights off FLHX's. Including the lights. So you could have extra brake and turns back there too then!
As far as fit, I guess you really would have to take yours off, measure and compare with the brackets off the '10s.

In a couple of weeks I will have a complete '09 vivid black Street Glide rear end set-up for sale: fender, fascia, blinker light bar, tail light assy, tri-light and a Kuryakyn curved plate holder. Might sound like a shameless plug, but just trying to help out.

Used the RWD set-up on my old Road King and the Cyclevisions one on my SG. Both eliminate the t/s bar.
