Default ABS vs. Non-ABS

Many of you have prejudice based on whatr you ride... but not all. Let's get a better perspective. hope this helkps those in question.

Who has ABS and prefers it,
Who would not have ABS ever,
Who would have ABS if they could do ove or in next purchaser,
Who has had it but disabled/doesn't want it,
Who's tired of the question?

Tired of the Question .. But don't have it and no plans on having it unless purchase a Bike that already has it installed .. And probably disable it .. 40 years riding without it, think can live a few more without ..

I have been riding street bikes for about 35 years and this is the first bike I have ever owned with ABS. I have never needed it up to this point and I've been in some pretty harry situations. When I was looking for my next bike last year I decided I would get one with ABS cuz I figured it couldn't hurt. It only takes a split second to turn into something really ugly. I have not needed it yet and I hope I never do but you never know it might come in handy someday.

I like my ABS. Kinda startled me with all the clicking and kicking back, the first time I activated it.... but I prefer it, and will get it from now on.

I don't have it but maybe on the next bike. You have to learn it and it only works when straight up.

Tired of the question.
Like others if I like the bike and it has ABS fine if it doesn't have ABS that's fine.
ABS is not a deal maker or breaker for me.

I have never ridden a bike with ABS so I can't speak from experience. However, I have owned cars with ABS and did not like it at all. My present car is not ABS equiped and I much prefer it that way. As for bikes, I'll stick with non-ABS. But with that all said, if given the opportunity to try one, I would give it a go. In spite of my bias I would have to see for myself.

Wow, the only cars without ABS now-a-days are real old. I have it on my bike and am somewhat scared to go without it on a new bike. Am I being a little fearful?
