You definately need to consider C&C seats.

I have some serious R/A, replaced hip, 4-time reconstructed knee, 3-time cut open foot, and a wacko back. Oh yeah, Fibro also.

I love my solo Mustang w/ fully adjustable backrest. And the chrome quality is fantastic. The solo is narrower than the two-up, and if ever needed the backseat can be bought in numerous sizes.

Check ebay for a Mustang and/or others.

BUT.... Don't buy a Saddleman. Check my other posts for that fiasco.

I would agree that is what I use on my every day bike..you can sit in this one all day long.I might add for the past few years I have been wearing a Kidney belt that I made.this sure helps me as much as a back rest

I made a bracket to move my tour pack forward to use as my back rest. It is like riding your recliner down the road. I made it adjustable in one inch increments so it fits like you want it too. I ride alone almost all the time so the back seat was not used so I made it work for me. If anyone needs pictures i can email them to you. I can't seem to make the pictures fit here .

I have owned seats by Corbin, Mustang and various Harley seats. The most comfortable seat I ever owned was made by Ultimate Seats. They make a solo with a backrest. They are not cheap, but they are the most comfortable in the business IMHO. If they made a seat that got me lower on my RK I would own another Ultimate.

They are a small American company with great customer service and make high quality seats. Here is the link in case you are interested: http://www.ultimateseats.ca/

Corbin solo classic. Some love them, some hate them. I am definitely in the love category. They are a firmer than most seats but once you break that bad boy in you would love it. Corbin's research supposedly shows where the firmer seats make for more comfort on extended rides due to better support and no sagging. They are proud of their seats though. I also run their backrest which adds to my comfort while riding. I have also used Mustang seats with great success. Good luck.
