Default Round Plastic Disk on Street Glide Fender?

I want to take the round hard rubber disk off that is located on the Street Glide rear fender under the license plate bracket. Is this glued on? Seems like it's on there pretty secure. What's the best removal method??

I tried hard to get that piece out......looked at the Parts Manual and decided from what I could see in the parts blow-up that it was a two part piece and part of it had been friction fit into a square hole in the fender and maybe some adhesive.......

Before I applield knuckle-busting force I decided to cover it up with this....

That set-up looks nice. Looks like you went with the Kuryakyn lights? How did you attach the license plate frame to the fender? I was thinking about that set-up also, but decided to go with the Cycle visions LED piece. This leaves the plastic disk exposed on the fender. Well, I'll get it off eventually........

Fimduc, your license plate frame looks like it is curved to fit the fender. Real slick look! Where did you get it?

it is a radius plate... I kinda modified the motorcyle stuff radius plate and made a custom back plate but J&P has one too......I used simple double stick foam tape, great fit nice an snug to the curve of the fender and gets rid of that balky stock frame that attaches to the light bar and simply looks liked a concealed fastener fit which you could do but would involve drilling a couple holes, etc....probably going to french one in over the winter so I did not want fasteners right now
