I had a mind-altering experience with my missus once. I came home one night and mentioned that I was offered an 09 Ultra new in the box W/ ABS, Cruise, and Security for several thousand BELOW MSRP here in Australia which included everything 'on the road' (another $1200 in tax and registration) on top of the initial price reduction.
I told him it wasn't good enough so I got another $500 knocked off on a full Stage 1 P/I.

It was the end of the 09 model year and the dealer had to get rid of their 09s before they could get '10s.

"She who must be obeyed" said go for it! I nearly fell over as I was expecting a battle.
I guess they just can't pass up a good deal even if it's for someone else.....

 

You can bet there will be plenty of interest in a ride like that one.
