Will NEVER go to MB again, period.

 

You would think they had learned their lesson. Went last fall and saw lots of signs saying "Motorcycles Welcome".....but couldn't park my bike in the hotel parking garage????????????

 

I will NEVER go back to MB bike week or spend any money in MB if I can help it. The rallies elswhere look like too much fun to waste time in myrtle.

The Morgantown, WVA rally looks fun! Charlie Daniels will be there.

Fools are getting what they wanted and now have to pay the piper?

The sad part here is the effect on the business owners that welcome the event but have to deal with the revenue loss due to a small group of narrow minded idiots!..

 

The mayor with all but 1 of his buddies was re-elected. Very expensive campaign for a position that only pays 20k year. The helmet law they enacted is going to the Supreme Court early Feb. Like to see how that goes

 

F them, I hope the all go broke and Myrtle Beach becomes a run down ghost town.

 

I missed it this last year. The 1st year I didn't go. Heard it sucked. Went to Panama City instead. It was O.K. I guess, not as cool as Myrtle used to be for sure.

 

I have a Time Share in Murrells Inlet. It's nice down there. We went during Bike week this past year. They have a situation sorta like Gatlinburg Tn. A few big wig's and some Homeowner's didn't like the Biker's, so they voted to have it stopped in the city limit's. Raised people's tax's to help pay for the loss. Lot of People are really upset with their decision. It really hurt the folks that make their living working at the Eating places and such. I saw T-shirt's selling for 1 dollar. It doesn't bother me, I like north and south area better anyway. They can do whatever they want with The city of MB.

 

I will never get a hotel in Myrtle Beach again. I never thought MB bike week was that great anyway. With that said, my friend live north of there on the NC/SC line, I would visit during one of the 3 bike weeks but I would NOT spend a dime in the city of MB and would tell the venders why. Move outside the city and I will buy. Sorry I don't forget even if they change the rules/law.

Just a side note, my bike complies with the laws, that my choice, I feel its wrong to go after any group but let others go ie let truck make all the noise but go after a MC.
