I like the black/chrome contrast ones.............wish they would fit my '05, I would probably grab a set of them.

Came from Harley. Not many out there yet in the chrome. This wheel back ordered three times. Finally had to get it from another dealer. The black and chrome came on the CVO STREETGLIDE so they are more plentiful. The cost was 600 with a 20% discount.. BUT, The rotors, and bearings are not included.. and as you already know. nothing cheap at the Harley store..

Did any of the dealers say anything about the mirror chrome ones not being for the Street Glide? The Harley big book only lists the mirror chrome for the Road Glide and Road King. One local dealer called Harley tech and was told that the weight of the chrome plating makes the front wobble on the Street Glide and should not be put on the Street Glide. This dealer said they will not install the mirror chrome on the Street Glide because of this. What is the part number of the rotors? Did they come polished or did you have to send them out? Thanks.

That sounds like a goofy explanation. Not entirely sure about previous years, but 2010, the RG and SG are the exact same bike minus fairing and exhaust.

I have called 2 dealers who called Harley tech and got the same answer. Harley does not recommend the mirror chrome for fixed faring models due to the extra weight of the chroming process. The first dealer said they would not install the mirror chrome on any fixed faring bike. Just asking if he found any issues at cruising speeds.

Sorry. I meant non-fixed (ie. batwing) fairing. I might be saying it wrong. My head is spinning trying to figure out getting a new SG.
