save the money. I paid the extra money and wish I hadn't. I can brake far more efficiently than the abs. That is just me. not all have that "feel".

I have the pre 2008 cop-only abs on my '07 RK. I'm thinking seriously about pulling it all off. I've heard the Brembo unit is light years better than the system I have. On my bike, when the ABS engages, the bike jumps ahead a little bit before the brakes come on. It's probably just a few inches, but it's still unsettling.

I have it and am very impressed with it. Saved me from hitting a couple dogs that darted in front of me.

Go for it you won't be sorry and it'll help resale.

I wish every bike I've owned since 1964 had it,I'll never own another bike without it.

I have it, but I can't think of a time outside of testing it in a parking lot, that I've actually had it kick in?

Would I get it?? Is $800 really going to break the deal on a $20,000 + bike?? Financed and it's what....$20 a month more... maybe??

I'd get it again. At the very least, it will help on resale. Better to have it and pray you never need to use it, rather than wishing you did.

I came from a Heritage with a single disk up front. My Dyna is the same way. The RG with ABS doesn't feel any different than the other bikes I've ridden or owned. Sure, the dual disks help a lot, but I don't even realize that it has ABS. There is no difference in feel to me.

I've been riding for 46 years. I have ABS and I like it. Rear wheels are just to easy to lock up on the heavier bikes without it. I've tried to lock up my rear wheel with ABS and can't. Brake pedal just pumps under my foot. But no, it's really not necessary.
