The best thing I have found for attaching rubber trim is 3M black trim adhesive. It is made for attaching automotive door seals. It comes in a tube about the size of toothpaste. Should be available at auto parts places, but definitely at paint/body shop suppliers.

The frame you have around your radio is more -- and better! -- than I've seen at the various HD sites for such items. Where did you find that? (Or is it a custom, personally developed one-off item...?)
