At walmart and alot of other stores they sell these gummi ear piece headphones. they squish in your ear and expand like earplugs. I've heard very good thing about them and my daughter uses them when she rides with me so she doesn't have to listen to my music on the stereo. They're usually down by the mp3 players and cost about $10. Hope this helps. fwiw, I've tried the behond the ear types and the over the head stuff and I couldn't even hear them while mowing much less riding.

I use my cell-phone's music app over Bluetooth with a Chatterbox XBi2 (which also has a plug for an iPod as well). Works great, except the damn adhesive they give you to fix the speakers in place inside the helmet doesn't stick for long. Earbuds have never worked well for me.

I appreciate the replies. The plugs that came with my phone seem like they will work if they stay in my ears. The sound is awesome and have been wearing them all day but again, being a rainy day have not had the opportunity to try on the scoot. The phone is a US Cellular Rhythm. I am not one that needs the doo dads so this is not directed to the droid type users, no offense intended, just a phone guy that found a phone with something I enjoy.

I guess it comes back to will the tunes in my ears distract me from road stuff. Shoot, I am having a hard time typing with the tunes in my ears....

Sorry but it took me a while to type this. Some music blows my mind!!!!

Just from my personal expirience the music in my ear distracted me alot. Then again when I crank up the tunes through the speakers on my eglide stereo it distracts me too. I find myself turning it off when I come into a town or get into traffic.

I use the Apple in-ear style with my iPhone. Work great, never had a problem with them coming out (I don't wear a helmet) and the inline remote comes in handy, have even answered phone calls with it while riding. I usually mute the music in town.
