Default SE Stage One Air Cleaner

Got my 09 RK. Got the SE air cleaner on the way. In the instructions it tells you to remove the gas tank to get to the two bolts thats hold on the Induction Module Bracket. Is there really a need for that? Looks like there is some space to get in there or maybe I gotta just losen the tank? Anyone got any thoughts here?

No need to remove the tank at all. I installed this kit without touching the tank. Not sure why that's in there. Good luck.

There are a few small differences with the electronic throttle. I think the slow throttle control such as when you are turning corners and the likes is where I find a cable throttle may be better suited for me. I often can't find that smooth transition. Other than that, I have no complaints. You get use to it.

You have to figure they have the instructions written so that absolutely everything that might need to be done is included in order to cover their azzes.

Yep, it's a tight fit. I ended up putting the bolts back in cuz it looked better. I wished I would have smoothed out the throttle inlet on the backplate cuz mine was fairly rough. Don't know if it would have increased air flow, but it might be worth it.
