2ohm or 4ohm Tweeters? Does it matter?
I want to buy seperate tweeters and install them flush mount in the fairing.
I cant find any 2ohm tweeters to use with my stock system?
I just saw a post from another guy who installed some Polk Audio 4ohm ones.
Can I use 4ohm Tweets with my 2ohm head unit?
I have the 2ohm J&M speakers now and Hate the look of the hog pod!

4 ohm tweets will work just fine. Speakers are measured by impedence, similar to resistance but the measurement is done at a specific audio frequency whereby the 'impedence' is calculated from. All speakers will have different impedences otside of their test frequency. For example, most 8 ohm speakers are measured at 1 kHz (kiloHertz) but their usefull range might be from 100 Hertz to 12 kHz. Guaranteed that this speaker is NOT 8 ohms at at anything other than 1 khz.
Hope this helps.
