If it's on the lid, then you can take it off yourself and have a reputable painter take care of it 'fairly' cheap. Less than $100 - or should be.

for that tiny little bit, go to an auto parts store, get the closest paint you can find to it, fill it in, let it dry, scuff flat with 00 steel wool, repeat if necessary to get rid of any indent, cover with touch up clear and wet sand, or 00 steel wool any lines out.

For all of my vehicles, I go get a pint of cheapo single stage paint mixed up to fix inevitable chips and scratches..Yeah, I know you don't have the paint codes...They can still match it. A pint usually sets me back less than 20 bucks. The torn off side of a paper match works great for a tiny brush.

The reason I get a pint is because it doesn't cost much more than one of those tiny bottles and doesn't get thick or dry up like those tiny bottles do after you crack the seal on them.

Color Rite has the HD matching paint pens, touch up pots, and bigger sizes, but if you take the part to any good paint shop with a digital camera for color matching, you will get an excellent match.
