isnt the quick something you hit if you trim a dogs nails too much ?.. yes h/d does sell touch up paint just ask your dealer to order you some if they dont have it in stock.. Im assuming you chipped it to the primer but it doesnt matter the kit will still work although it aint gonna be like new
for that tiny little bit, go to an auto parts store, get the closest paint you can find to it, fill it in, let it dry, scuff flat with 00 steel wool, repeat if necessary to get rid of any indent, cover with touch up clear and wet sand, or 00 steel wool any lines out.
I have seen HD factory color touch up paint kits for small scratched, dings etc.
Do a Google search. I know I have seen them!! just cant remember where. Dealer?
Sorry I can t remember..but thouch up pens/small applicators are available that will match your color.
Good luck
get paint from hd will be two small bottles the paint and a bottle of clear then find airbrush person or body shop and they can spray it and you will never know guy charged me 50.00 to do inner fairing chip the size of a dime .
For all of my vehicles, I go get a pint of cheapo single stage paint mixed up to fix inevitable chips and scratches..Yeah, I know you don't have the paint codes...They can still match it. A pint usually sets me back less than 20 bucks. The torn off side of a paper match works great for a tiny brush.
The reason I get a pint is because it doesn't cost much more than one of those tiny bottles and doesn't get thick or dry up like those tiny bottles do after you crack the seal on them.
Color Rite has the HD matching paint pens, touch up pots, and bigger sizes, but if you take the part to any good paint shop with a digital camera for color matching, you will get an excellent match.
