Question Rear valve stem on 09 Road King Classic

Sometimes I don't know what HD is thinking. It is a minor feat in wrist and finger gymnastics to check the tire pressure using the standard spoked wheels on the 09 FLHRC and impossible to add air to it. I got a valve stem extender from Auto Zone. They aren't fancy, but it does extend the valve above where the spokes cross makeing it easier to check pressure and possible to use a household air pump to add air.

I was worried though about the weight of it throwing the balance of the tire off. Right now I just screw it on when the pressure needs to be adjusted. Can this throw the balance off?
I've seen the angled valve extenders but don't think it would work on this bike. I don't know what HD was thinking when they designed this wheel. The front is insanely easy to check - the valve extends out to the side away from the spokes.

If you think the spoked wheels are bad, wait until you see the 09 FLHR mags..almost impossible with buying one of these.

Hey, it takes a man to ride a Harley!! Course, now that I'm older, when I'm putting air in, the neighbors come over just to make sure I haven't fallen down in the driveway again!!
