I think the extension soulds like a good idea.
My only other option was to shrink the bike to fit my legs.

I have a 09 Ultra Classic and had the same problem, Installed the extension from HD and it works great. it moves the toe point up a couple inches and now can reach it without any problem. Make sure you get the one for Your bike, there is a couple different model #'s. Get a good drill bit, the stand is really hard metal, but it's simple to install.

I am sooo glad I saw this thread. Thanks for the tip on what to get. I guess I could have asked the dealer but hadn't gotten around to it and might not have for some time.

Default Kickstand

I agree with the rest of the vertically challenged people of which I'm one as well, The pic does'nt look like it would help but it does! Very easy to install & looks factory installed. Its a purchase you won't regret! Safe Riding that is once spring gets here!

Glad I did a search for this... I just got a 2010 Road King and was having the same issue with the kickstand (jiffy stand??).

Thanks!

30" inseam her and it really does help, make sure you get the proper drill bit (I went thru two bits) as it is a biatch to drill thru, luckily it's just one hole if I remember correctly, otherwise a breeze to install.

Had mine for years. I highly recommend it. The design is perfect. It falls just where I need it to be and when folded it is in the perfect spot to reach it to extend it.
