Here's another review.....

"The Garmin zumo 665 is near identical to the recently reviewed zumo 660. One difference is performance of the rechargeable battery which is good for 3 hours at best compared to 5 hours with the zumo 660. Most likely the battery performance is reduced by the inclusion of a GXM 40 XM antenna for receiving XM Radio satellite radio service (subscription required). Anyone who owns a Kindle would know how having the 3G receiver/transmitter on kills battery life. The battery life would only be an issue away from a charger connection on either the bike or in the car.
XM Radio provides a new dimension of functionality to the zumo 665 with 170 digital channels of commercial-free music, news, sports, talk and entertainment when you travel in the U.S. If you opt for the addition of XM NavWeather, you can access up-to-the-minute weather data and NEXRAD radar graphics from your 4.3 inch map screen to monitor potential weather problems. XM NavTraffic is also available to discover where the trouble spots are and route around them. If you travel the same routes regularly then traffic trouble spot avoidance can be one of the most useful functions of your GPS navigator.
Unlike the zumo 660, the unit is not MSN Direct compatible."

Found this today. With the Garmin rebate and free shipping, the 665 totals $809.00. that's a pretty good price..

Probably not a big deal since the 665 uses XM Traffic and Weather

And XM is way better... I love it with my 550... might have to upgrade... When I get back to the states. Can not get XM in Europe.

Bought one on Fri and arrived Mon PM for $899 less Garmin $100 rebate. But be careful of rebate, Garmin says only from authorized dealers, no ebay, no Amazon.com etc.

Neteng, I also have some questions about it, says preloaded with City Navigator NT but my box came with a City Navigator NT disk. Does that have to be loaded into my computer and transfered to the GPS??

What mount did you use?? Did you get an instructions manual with your unit?? Mine came with a quick start manual which leaves a lot to be desired. PM Me please.

i'm too cheap for XM right now - dont use it enough. i listen to mp3's through my 660 or the radio.... or nothing. i also like the HD version, just because. it was a gift, so not a money thing for me - but XM isnt a big enough reason to upgrade. my brother in law has the 550 and wants to upgrade because the new maps dont fit easily on his.
