Default 2010 road glide build

Learning as much as I can but my head is beginning to spin. I have a stock 2010 road glide and I know from a previous bike that I owned that I need more power, around 110 horespower and torque. Im a total novice when it comes to engine work and am open to suggestions. What would you do to achieve these results. Thanks so much for your input and patience.

Whats your budget?

110 hp is on the cusp of needing to split the cases. There was a thread on here last week about a Hillside 107 kit that had 103 hp, but most 106 or 107 kits usually nudge 110 hp.

107 is as big as you can go without boring the cases.

Cost steps up heavily as soon as you split the cases. IMHO if you split the cases and do the Timken bearing conversion you are mad not to bin the rubbish stock crank and flywheels. If you are going for a new crank anyway why not stroke it and go 124"??

S&S 106 kit would be my advice for the cheap option, S&S 124" for the high cost option.

The third option is a procharger. 110 hp with one of those isnt hard at all. The only problem is can you insure it?

Whats your budget?

So many options. I've read a lot of good stuff on the 107 builds combined with head work and a cam to compliment. Also a good flowing exhaust (2-1).

The flavor of the month here seems to be Woods cams and D&D Exhaust....why, because they're both proven to make power. You'll also need a good tune. 110hp and 110tq should be very attainable.

You dont need a 2-1 exh either. These power duals flow very very well and look much better IMHO.

They aint cheap which brings me back to the question around budget.

Funny how we're all a little different in some respects. I think the power duals don't look all that great but the Fat Cat does. Go figure...

Seems they could have hidden the "Dual" part under a cover or something but then again it wouldn't look all that custom and more or less stock.

What is the general ball park figure for the Hillside 107" kit (less labor)?

To me the fat cat looks like something made in a shed on the farm. The PDs look like a serious bit of hi po gear.

As you said, go figure.

From J&P cycles, the S&S 106" kit is $628.99
the Revolution performance 107" kit is $999.99

Can't say for hillside.

I was thinking around 5 grand, all said and done. A few months ago i saw a thread on here about the Axtel 107 kit. Did some research and it seems like a pretty good option. I know I dont want to split the cases, gotta draw the line somewhere. I planned on a thunderheader 2 into 1. Seems like im the only one but I like the look of 2 into 1. Also the s and s tuned induction kit. http://img179.imageshack.us/img179/3301/snow010un9.jpg
Any thoughts? Thanks for your input.
