Default Throttle Cable adjustment on 04 EG

I just finished lubing the throttle cables on my 04 Electra Glide and I was checking the adjustment on the cables. When I turn the handle bars to the right in the lock out position and throttle up and release the throttle appears to stick and then slowly release back to the idle position. The throttle snaps back quickly when the bars are turned to the left and front. I havent had any luck resolving this issue yet with the adjustment. Any help would greatly be appreciated.

Thanks,
Stay Safe

The adjustment should take care of it. If not, have you taken off the air cleaner and looked closely at where the cables connect to the induction module? It may be out of the sleeve where it sits or the cable could be binding somewhere. If they are stock cables and stock bars then length shouldn't be an issue. Have you been lubing the cables and performing regular maintenance?

I just purchased this bike about a month ago. It appeared that it has been well maintained. I'll check the cable again.

Checked the cables behind the air cleaner they appear to have some grime on them.
