Nothing like jumping in HEAD first. You are going to LOVE this bike. I bought mine in Sept after totaling out my 07 ultra. I got the Black/Black Ice Pearl. This is the best bike I have ever riden and I have been riding since the age of 8. Congrats and RIDE IT LIKE YOU STOLE IT!

 

Yes the weather not to bad here in alabama.I have drove it a few days already its been in the 60s..I have no complaints even the seat not that bad so far..But i will need to send the seat off to lower it some to mean city every one has talk about..hope they can lower it about 2 ".I am 5 8''

Congrats, you are going to love it. I got the same one back in oct. and i racked up 1200 miles in the month before nov. came and the weather went to crap. I put the bub 7 tdx,se a/c and pcv on mine and it really cooled it down alot. When the weather warms up, you are going to feel the heat coming up from the cat. I also want to do the forks and the painted inner fairing. Enjoy her, i wish i could but ill have to wait about another month and a half around here.

 

Yea so far I have not felt any heat yet. But I am sure it will come it does get pretty hot out here. But at least not much traffic so no low speeds for a distance.

 

I want to trade my 05 Ultra on a limited and they even have one that has been sitting on the floor at my local dealer for over a week now. If I thought for a minute they would give me a good deal I would try to buy the thing but I know as sure as I'm typing this they're going to make me mad when they ask full MSRP and want to give me nothing for my bike. I seen a lot of these Limited up and down the East Coast. I been into 5 dealers out of my area in the past 2 weeks and everyone has at least 1 Limited on the floor and a pile of Ultras. Did any of you get what you thought was a fair trade and deal when you bought your Limited?

No trade for me either. I sold the rk straight out. As for price, i happily paid msrp for mine. I got some decent discounts on parts for a year and some other small perks. Look around, id say these bikes are starting to slow down a little by now. As for the bike itself i am totally satisfied. I wanted a black/orange and this new scarlet red is just about orange. I am happy camper!!!!
