Activheat glove liners

Activheat glove liners
I got in my Activheat glove liners and am charging up
the high power/high drain batteries to try them out.
I have to say they fit great and my gloves are comfy
put on top of them. I tried them out with regular batts
and could feel the soft warmth as described. As written
they will not get HOT but will keep the digits comfy!!!
I am ready to try them out fully and will post info about
the results later.

They work well for the $ spent, do they keep your
hand toasty/hot? NO
do they keep your hands from getting cold?? YES
kinda of a pain getting all suited up, but they do
work for what I bought them for. They have come
in handy this winter. Seems to have had more
cold weather than it the decade past.
I will probably get some heated grips at some time
this year, stiil undecided on the HD heated or the
demon heaters. Any info ya'll could share????????

After agonizing
over what to do about frozen hands, I went with the HD heated grips about two weeks ago. I know, I know, I spent a lot of money for them ($426 installed) but here is the deal;
I just couldn't accept getting wired up with Gerbing or other electric gear. My buddy has some inexpensive heated glovers, but without a controller his hands get too hot.
I tried to like the HD battery powered heated gloves, but they were way too bulky.
I looked at Heat Demons and others, but I really didn't want to give up my cup holder to put the switch on the handlebar. Call me picky.
The HD heated grips work very well. I've ridden in 32 degree weather already. I run them at half speed, the #3 position. At highway speeds, where the fairing bubble gets bigger, they really work well. My index fingers (next to the thumb) feel the cold but not the biting kind. I like the fact the heaters aren't visible except for the setting **** on the end of the left grip. Installation was a big hassle. The tech had to remove the gas tank to wire them up properly and I paid 2.5 hours labor for the install. I did get a 15% discount on the heated grips because I am a Platinum VIP customer.
Why did I wait so long?
