Radio resets when i start the bike

No compression releases, what is the cause and symptoms of that?
This is the battery I ordered last June, and was on a tender all Winter:

Can't imagine that being the issue right?

In 08 most bikes did not come with compression releases.
Soooo, in addition to turning over the motor ,the starter has to overcome the full on compression of the motor, which takes a lot of power. With a weak or under sized battery the voltage drop is so much, the radio shuts off.
For this reason and others, new bikes now come with compression releases that are engaged for the first two revolutions.
