Default Mustang Seat VS Mean City Cycle Conversion

Whats your opinion? I had a Mustang 3 piece on my last cruiser with the backrest and it was great! But the Mean City conversion looks pretty cool too. And I'd like the extra set back distance they are talking about. The cost is about $150 difference to me its not a factor, comfort is.

What are you thinking? Thanks All

Both my stock 09 UC seat and 09 StreetGlide seat were worked by MCC. Excellent work, seat looked better than from the factory, and a great bunch of guys.

Had a mustang on my 06 ultra and liked and had no complaints. Traded for a 09 ultra and was alittle short on money and the stock seat was killing me after about 150 miles. Talked with Allen at Mean City Cycles and he saved me some money and I LOVE my double decker foam seat. They will have my business for now on.

Save your money! I sent my Mustang Regal out $140 later no difference! It didn't do anything to move me back at all. Only difference I noticed was that I was a little bit lower to the ground not worth the $140. If you don't already have a Mustang, go buy a C&C seat. If your still interested in the mustang let me know I still have to sell mine.

I don't like the look of the mustangs as they just spread you out and look to pillowy. I bought an 08 Road GLide seat and sent it to MCC and I couldn't be happier. It's much better than the 08 SG seat as it brings in your legs up front and has a much better passenger pad. Once doctored up by MCC with their much better padding, you will just love it. One other choice to look at is the 10 FLHXse seat (part 51995-10). My buddy thought about getting a RG seat and sending it to MCC but thought that the cost would be better suited with the SE seat and he was probably correct. He has a little over 300.00 in the seat and it's got a nice pad where your back hits on the rider (and also says harley davidson) and the padding for the passenger is also as nice as the older RG seat. Best of both worlds and if the seat eventually breaks down, he can always send it to mcc but in the meantime the seat looks and feels very comfortable. Only time will tell once he gets his butt on the thing for some distance riding.

I had a MCC conversion done to a Sportster seat. Came back; no noticeable difference from stock. And workmanship sucked. Went with Mustang and I'm very happy with it. You asked; just my two cents worth.
