I run flush mount axles on all my bikes. I've used Klocks, and now the 89 dollar deals on Ebay without any problem.
Couple of things.
1) if you plan in the future to replace your lower legs with chrome or powdercoated legs...do it now before you put on the axle. The 6mm bolt that holds the leg together is located at the bottom of the leg and the flush mount endcap on the left side is actually pulled/pressed into the leg blocking access to that bolt. It's not impossible to remove the endcap to get access to the bolt, but it's a bitch kinda.
2) use liberal amounts of antiseize on the axle before installing it.
