Default Vanes & Hines HI-OUTPUT Slip-Ons

Anyone have these on an 08 model? Per V&H they have an aggresive sound and will work on a stock bike. I will be adding this as well as an A/C and PC-V. I mainly want to make sure they are not tinny and not way too loud at cruising on the interstate for long streaches. The other thing I want to see is where the front of the muffler connects to the header. Only pictures I can find is the one they have and it is on an 09 SERG.
