Taylorized, those look great. I also like the look of the new 2010 - 18" front wheel. Bet it'd look even better chromed.

I bought the harley detonator wheels which retailed for $2000, was gonna have em custom powdercoated, harley had problems with the chrome on the wheels, if someone is interested, I'd sell em for $400 pickup in chicago or $450 shipped, structurally perfect just flaking chrome. forum member JRK5892 could probably custom powdercoat em for ya for a additional cost.pm or email if interested

I know I'm in the minority here, but I hate chrome on big bikes. It's just something else to clean and polish. I really like the blacked-out "stealth" look. I don't even like White Walls on them. But, I know the majority of people can't get enough chrome on their rides and it's your money, and your bike so you should do what makes you happy and what you like.

Since, on the big baggers, you have two rotors and calipers obliterating the wheel on the front, and the packs hiding the rear, it seems to me to be a waste because you can't see much of the wheel anyway even at a dead stop. I wouldn't even think of taking off a front brake on a 800 lb+ bike either. So, the most I'd do is powder coat the wheels in your favorite color so you didn't have to spend a lot of time polishing and cleaning something the only one that's going to know is there, is you.

I'm really suprised more of the bikes don't have chromed fenders and tanks as well as all the rest of the parts that we do see chromed.

I like the stock SG wheels so I found a set on ebay and put then om my '06 EGC. They look better than the stock wagon wheels that come on the EGC and didn't cost too much either.
