Default Forkin forks stuck!!!

07 Road Glide. I'm removing the forks to swap out the sliders for black powdercoated ones. I have read all the write ups here in the forums (that are fookin awesome by the way), and I have the service manual. i've done everything step by step. The previous owner of my bike lived by the beach down in San Diego, and didn't really care to keep it garaged from what I've seen so far. And alot of places on this bike have rust build up. I've replaced screws and bolts everywhere on this thing. My problem is I can't get the forks to "slide" out. It's like they're froze in the triple p;tree. These things wont budge. Any ideas? Liquid wrench around the tree? Something? It's like rust or somethin has built up between the forks. Anyhow I am STUCK!
Thanks!

Like the above post shows. Pull the pinch bolts all the way out, put a pry bay in there and try to wedge them apart. If that doesn't work you can loosen the fork caps so they are about half way out of the tube and then tap them with a rubber mallet.

The '07 RKC I bought (ebay $7K) had been stuffed in the front end. I didn't know at the time, but the lower tree was tweaked. Took me a solid hour-and-a-half of beating with a 32-oz. ball-peen hammer to get both tubes out. As long as your tree is OK, I think the penetrant, rubber hammer or hardwood dowel and regular hammer will do ya.

I would use some penetrant like PB Blaster and use something tapered to wedge into the slots to spread them open a little.Use a dead blow hammer to knock the tubes out.

I coated the openings in the trees with a small amount of anti-seize before I inserted the forks so they will hopefully slide out easier the next time I have to remove them.
