Craigslist prices taken to a whole new level

I shouldn't have bothered - they were listing a whole bunch of take-off stuff for well over msrp. I figure they're just ignorant rather than trying to take advantage. My point in letting them know was so they'd have a fighting chance of offloading the junk. I guess I really am that naive!

How bout those pawn shops, I go in there looking for a deal on something and get caught up in looking at the prices that are near or more than that of new.
A while back they had a pair of used HD boots at $129 that are at Academy everyday for $89. I try to tell these guys they are a little off on the price and they want to run you out of the store.

That kind of think is all over ebay and cl. Can't let it get to you. Everybody needs to learn to do their due diligance. The seller is not misrepresenting his item, just marking it way way up. If he finds a buyer dumb enought to bite, then it's no skin off my back.
Shoot, the moco does it all the time. How much do you think it costs to make those plastic side covers we all have on our bikes?

With MY experience selling on Craigslist.... you have to ask for TWICE msrp.... because any one who replies, offers you 25% of what you were asking.
And then again... a lot of folks post HIGH prices, and hope no one buys their stuff... but they can show wifey, that they are trying to sell off, their swag.
