Better check the chain guide, if they wear they can take out the motor.

Don't forget the battery tender!! It makes it easier to pull!!

Actually since it's self propelled have you thought about putting a blade on the front and getting some use out of it this winter?

I think your lawnmower will be just fine toro's make great mowers

....... is that a chain drive on the self-propel, or is it gear driven ? If it's a chain, maybe this is a good time to check the tensioner.
..... You know what wet grass can do to a tensioner if you leave it on there.
