Default To those that have put apes on a Road Glide

Got a set of 16" Wild1 apes to go on soon, have a guy I know that wants to put them on for me. He hasn't gave me a price yet. Just wondering what would be a fair price for labor/parts. I already have the bars.

I'd really like to see pics once the 16's are installed.....
The time to do this job mostly depends on how competent
your indy-mechanic is........
Has he ever attempted this before on another bike, extending
the TBW ??

Yeah, he works at RC Components close to where I live and does alot of the guys work there. He comes highly recommended through a few friends of mine. So from what they tell me he knows his way around a scoot pretty well. I'll will get some pics up as soon as I can but it'll be beginning of Feb. before he starts on it.

I checked on johnnyvaughn.com and parts was gonna run around $350ish. So I guess I'm just needing to know whats a fair price for labor?

Bars internally wired with labor and parts usually run in the 1000.00 range.

A friend is having 16"'s put on his Road Glide as we speak. He got the black wild one's. Labor really depends from person to person. If it is an individual as opposed to a dealer or shop it will probably be about $400 or so. I can tell you that for cable lengths +8" is barely enough. If you want a little extra cable get a +9 or 10. This guy went with +8 and it is just barely enough. At least this takes the guess work out of the cable portion of ordering.
