Unhappy Stressing to hear from HD about warranty :-(

Was out for a ride yesterday and was cruising along and my clutch had less tension on it than it normally did. I pulled off the highway and headed for a shop I knew was near buy and limped in. Well long story short it was not a cable or even my clutch but - I am not going to use the correct terms here, My understanding is there are two shafts on either side on the primary is the shaft where adjustment is made and on the other cable side there is also a shaft (I think to move fluid around) well both of these are according to the mechanic at the harley dealer, welded to each the main shaft in the tranny. WTF!, this bike is maintained a dealer did my 10K and I did the 15K with fluids - redline shock proof in the tranny. I did not adjust the clutch at 15K because it felt fine and the play at the cable was within the 1/8 or 1/16 that is noted in the manual. The bike currently has just over 20K I was planning on doing a service.....
The mechanic did not get to the bike till this afternoon so by the time he called WI they had gone home early because of the snow storm - ARGGGG! So of course I have to wait until tomorrow to find out if HD is going to warranty this - the mechanic is like I have never seen anything like this and will not say one way or another (It is not really his call) whether HD will cover it or not. I am stressing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It should be covered. I know they do not cover clutches but that is in the mechanicals of the clutch. Good luck.
