Had a yellow one break on me while the bike was still up a few inches. Had a devil of a time getting it down. Dragged it to the curb and bought a J&S to replace it. Wish I had bought that one first.

I have been watching the price on the Sears red jack for a while. It seems like the price is going up. $99 was the regular price for a long time, sometimes it was on sale for $89. I looked today and it was $129. Not sure whats going on, I would really like to get it for the $89 that I was it for at one point.

This sure looks like the same jack here on the Harbor Freight site. Both made in China, different color and cheaper. Plus if you use their 20% off coupon it's a real bargain.

I have the red one, but if I had it to do over I would get the profesional jack.
The red one works just fine but I think the other one is worth the extra $$$.

I did an exhaustive search on this very subject a couple of months ago and bought the yellow jack. I'm very happy with it. I'm not a pro by any means, use it mainly to lift the wheels off the ground to check the spokes and cleanings. I'd say it's very sturdy.

Also from my previous searches, it appears these jacks have gone way up in price. I paid $179 for mine on sale a couple of months ago. The red jack was $129 and everything I read said the yellow jack was worth it to pay the extra money.

The other day I was in Sears again to buy some 12pt. sockets and saw the yellow jack ON SALE for $199. The red jacks were still $129. I don't know if Sears has someone reading our posts here or not, LOL

IF I had to do it over again, I would have saved up some more and went with an actual lift table, but I don't have much room so the yellow jack is working nicely for now.

The red one works fine for me for what i do,Tires, brakes, oil, cleaning, ect but if i was going to rip into it i would feel much better with a good table.

I have the yellow one. Based on what I read at the time it seemed to be the way to go. It would get under the frame and was supposed to be stable. My bike rocks back and forth just like the videos showed and it's a pain to check to be sure the frame is sitting just right on the jack. I just didn't know any better. The J&S lifts look amazing on their videos. I did not get how unsafe my yellow lift is. Any way to get a discount on them?

+1 on the red Sears jack. I've had mine for 7 years. Never had an issue. Very sturdy and raises my 2010 SE Ultra without an issue. My 2003 Fatboy is lower so to get the jack under it, I place a 1" thick by 10" long by 6" wide board right in front of the rear tire. I ride the bike forward until the rear tire is up on the board. Once the rear tire is on the board the jack easily fits under it.

I have had the Yellow for 5 years and use t regularly on Ultra and on ATV.
Great product. I purchased because I heard the red was junk.
Not having the red one, I could not provide comments.
Thumbs up on yellow

I have had the red one for 5 years and still works great. I did have trouble getting it under some of my bikes , so I took a 4" grinder and where the cross arm come down and hits the main frame I ground out the metal on each arm and it drops the jack almost another inch without losing any strength in the main frame. Now I can hold my lowered E Glide straight up and push the jack right under with my foot and raise it up. Mine sits on my jack all winter ,
