Default Street glide mirrors and handlebar changes

Ok, I'm adding my fairing soon, and I purchased a used SG inner fairing which I'm having painted. My question is; how many of you had to delete the fairing mounted mirrors when you swapped bars? I'm not going tall, just looking for a bar like I have now (Road King High bars) with a few inches higher and a few inches back. Since I have to change to a "bagger style" bar and remove my current bars thanks to the fairing cap.

I need to know now, so if I delete the fairing mount mirrors, I'll just have my guy fill the holes before painting.

I know that rocknrod used the same Khromewerks bars that I did and he uses Kuryakyn fairing mount mirrors on his FLHX and didn't have to remove them. Claims he can see fine. There is also a neat mod that can be added that was posted on here. Let me see if I can find it.

Thanks dawg, I'll PM him and find out how he likes them. I still may end up deleting the stock mount holes, but I like the idea of adding mirrors on top.

I know that at one time one of the vendors here was giving a good deal on them, can't remember it was Warehouse Direct or not. I got mine direct from Khromewerks when they first came out. They were only $63 back then. I know Drag has them for like $75-78 or something like that.
