I put clear plastic self adhesive cabinet bumpers on the bottom of my bags. About 3/8 inch diameter and 1/8inch thick. I set the bags down wherever I want without some other gadget taking up space in the shop. But if it works for you, that's great. You did a nice job with it.

I hear what you are saying. I have a good sized shop and I just hang the saddlebag holder on the wall till I need it. When in use it dosen't take up much more floor space than the two bags.

The plastic bumpers sound like a great idea. I may do this in case I ever need to remove the bags when I am not home, like a problem while out on the road.
Thanks for the idea!

Thanks for the post. I got a boatload of PVC marshmallow shooter guns that I made one year to sell at a camp ground flea market my wife used to participate in. I shoulda made one of these instead!

That's what I did. I got the idea from a member here.
Maybe it was IAMSWUTIAMS. Thanks.

Thanks for sharing. I saw your thread too late. I bought this afternoon all parts from original thread. It is made with 1/2 pvc. For that dimension i only found pvc pipes for electric lines, is that good enough?

I'll maybe mix the 2 mounts into one more strong.
