Just when you feel that everything went well, you put everything back together, fire it up, and realize that the throttle doesn't work. On mine, I just used alot of tape to hold the plug together and had someone feeding the wire as I was pulling it slowly. On my friend's, we used heat shrink around the plug and ended up with the connection undone inside of the heat shrink. His are now cut and soldered with no problems to date.

My indy used baby powder to get the 16 wires through on the throttle side.

I am anxious to see them on my bike. The dealer wants me to come down next weekend to adjust them to where I want them. I dont know if the bike will be done but I will see if I can get some pics

2 questions....

1) If you order the 10" or custom order 9" can I use stock controls, wiring, cables etc on my 09 SG...?

2) On the PM grips how is the left one held on? On my chopper they were held on with 3 allen set screws that gripped the bar. Are these different for a harley?

1) Yes, but IMO, it looks bad.
2) 1 Allen screw.

Those are nice looking bars, but $$375 seems kind of steep. Maybe HG should start doing bars.
