Default Rev Xtend feature?

I got my PC-V from Jaime and have been playing with some different maps and I hit the limiter at 5500......even with the rev xtend inabled maps? Anyone know why.

Is RevXtend enabled in Power Commander Tools > Configure?
I've heard that if its a TBW bike the tach will stop at ~5K but the engine will continue on to the redline of 6250.

there are other threads out there where this was confirmed by Jamie. so yes, i believe it is correct, the tach stops at the "redline" but the motor continues to the actual Redline of 6250

Jim Sabin in Dallas did my PCIII tune and extended the rev to 6250.

You put a PCIII on your '10 RG? They don't fit anything newer than an '08 touring bike, or so I thought.

On 08 and newer DBW bikes because of the strategy the PC-V uses to raise the rev limiter and the way the tach is wired, if you use RevXtend the tach will stop at approx 5100 although the actual rev limiter will be 6200 RPM's.
